9.2.5 Step wall installations To create a step wall installation, we recommend the use of coping modules to be split at a 90º angle using a chisel and then pound the newly split face to create the same finish as on the other sides. 10. Finishing When the last row of modules is complete, cover the clean gravel behind the wall with the remaining geotextile to prevent contamination of the draining mass. Fill in the back side of the last row of blocks and the coping with the existing soil or with any other available soil, vegetation, mulch, etc. and level it to allow you to complete the excavation.
